<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for massage and relaxation in the horizontal, vertical or inclined position, or a combination of these various positions, comprising at least one massage member (3, 4) which is held in a frame (1) and against which the part of the body to be massaged bears, the apparatus being characterised in that each massage member (3, 4) comprises a set of rollers (15) which are mounted loosely, and independently of one another, on at least two secondary rotational axles (14) arranged in a spiral or prismatic, straight or oblique, cluster, revolving around a drive axle (16) which is moved in rotation by suitable means, such as a pedal mechanism (7) which allows the user himself/herself to supply the energy necessary for driving the massage members (3, 4) in rotation.
