The camera (OK) has a cylindrical housing (3) whose axis extends horizontally and coincides with the axis of rotation of a joint (4) by means of which the camera (OK) is mounted on a support (ST). The axis of the objective (2) is perpendicular to that of the housing (3). A further joint (5), which can be rotated about a vertical axis, is inserted between the joint (4) and the support (ST). Both joints (4, 5) are combined in a joint ball-and-socket head (6) which is connected by a support spar (9) to the foot (8) of the support (ST). <IMAGE>
