PURPOSE:To disable the possession of a use right by the user name and person identification number of an illegal user by inspecting the identity of the right to use the computer before activating a program. CONSTITUTION:When controlling the first computer of a computer network equipped with the first computer to execute a previously decided processing requested through a data communication line network and the second computer to request the processing, the identity of the right to use the second computer to request connection for executing the processing at the first computer is decided and only when the use right is proper, the program for the processing is activated. For example, assuming that the second computer generates the connecting request to a port (a) of the first computer, the first computer monitors the port (a) and when the connecting request is received, the destination of the connecting request is investigated so as to confirm that the destination of the connecting request has the use right. Thus, the illegal use of the first computer can be prevented. |
