PURPOSE:To obtain excellent bending strength and bending elastic modulus by aggregating solid matter in an aqueous slurry including reinforcing fiber, binder and self-hardening phenol resin fine particles, separating the resultant aggregate from water, and drying and forming it. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing fiber, binder, and self-hardening phenol resin are dispersed in aqueous medium, to thus prepare aqueous slurry. Subsequently, the resultant slurry is added with an coagulant agent including a polymer with such an electric charge reversed to that of the polymer on the binder, to thereby make the disperse system instable thus aggregating the solid matter. Thus, the obtained aggregate is separated from water and is then dried. Next, the dried aggregate is formed and the phenol resin is hardened, to obtain the phenol resin composite. |
