PURPOSE:To reduce man-hour and job cost at revision of version by revising the version of a program whose version is to be remotely revised so as to revise the version of programs of all network management terminal equipments from one location. CONSTITUTION:A WS (network management terminal equipment) 10 requests a version change to an NM(network manager) S4, and upon the receipt of reply to the version change request, the WS 10 transfers a version change program to the NMS 4 via a PS (exchange processing unit) 1. The NMS 4 saves the received version change program onto a disk file once. Then the NMS 4 makes version change to all WS 20, 30 other than the WS 10 making the version change request sequentially. The NMS 4 sends a WS 20 version change command via PS 1, 2 at first. The WS 20 receiving the version change command changes over its processing program from an on-line operation into a version change operation.
