PURPOSE:To obtain the subject detergent composition containing an N- acylaspargic acid salt and an N-polyoxyethylene fatty acid amidesulfate salt, excellent in detergency, a foaming effect and free from skin irritation and tuckieness. CONSTITUTION:An N-acylaspargic acid salt of formula I (R1 is 7-21C alkyl or alkenyl; M1 and M2 are H, Na, K, NH4 or cation derived from, alkanolamine, provided that M1 and M2 are not simultaneously H) and an N-polyoxyethylene fatty acid amidesulfate salt of formula II (R2 is 7-17C alkyl or alkenyl; M3 is alkaline metal or cation derived from alkanolamine; n is 2-5) are mixed in an amount of 2-30wt.% based on the whole composition. The ratio of the weight of the compound of formula I to that of the compound of formula II is (5/1)-(1/5). Other components commonly used for a detergent are blended therewith as necessary, thus giving the objective composition capable of applying to a hair care composition such as a shampoo, a body washing agent, a face washing agent, etc. |
