27293-17 In the application of water-borne paints, when direct charging or contact charging of the high-speed rotary atomizers is desired, difficult electrical insulation problems must be mastered, which make the existing units expensive. In order to overcome these problems, a paint storage vessel is proposed, which is subdivided by a flexible insulation into two interior spaces which are each connected to their own distribution line and to their own paint supply line, the connection of the ring main to the two distribution lines being effected with the interposition of an electrically insulating change-over mechanism. |
