PURPOSE:To make it possible to correct the error due to the external magnetism and the error resulting from the positional change of the conductor being measured, by attaching a magnetism-excluding endless member at a proper position on each of the coils on both sides each provided with a current-detecting coil on a part thereof. CONSTITUTION:Semicircular cores 2a and 2b formed by piling up a plurality of conductive metal plates are provided on both sides, facing to each other. One core 2a is made rotatable through a shaft 3 provided at the base end. Current-detecting coils 4a and 4b are wound on parts of the cores 2a and 2b to detect the magnetic filed generated when a current flows through a conductor A to be measured. In addition, a thin plate-shaped endless member 6 of silicon steel plate is wound on the winding-starting part or winding-terminating part of each of the coils 4a and 4b. Said position is least affected by the external magnetism. Therefore, the external magnetisms generated at other positions are efficiently absorbed, and no matter where the external magnetisms are generated, the error distribution approximates to the peripheries of the cores. Thereby, the current flowing through the conductor being measured can be accurately measured. |
