PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure sensitive recording sheet including a color coupler having excellent light resistance, chemical resistance, plasticity resistance wherein coloring speed is fast and coloring density is sufficient by using a specific compound and crystal violet lactone as an electron donative dye. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensitive recording sheet which obtains a colored image by a reaction on a nearly colorless electron donative dye and an electron acceptive developer contains a compound shown by the general expression [I] and a crystal violet lactone as an electron donative dye. A preferable ratio of the compound shown by the general expression [I] to the crystal violet lactone when these are used in combination is (a)/(b)=20/80-90/10 in weight ratio. If the used quantity of the compound shown by the general expression [I] is too small, the light resistance, chemical resistance and plasticity resistance of the color coupler are insufficient. If the used quantity of the crystal violet lactone is too small, the coloring speed will be insufficient. |
