PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet material for clothes, beddings, foot gear, hat, supporter, bandage, etc., by utilizing the electric action of germanium in combination with the far-infrared action radiated from a ceramic material and the deodorizing, antibacterial and moisture-proofing actions of a textile material. CONSTITUTION:The objective sheet material is composed of a combination of (A) germanium (any substance containing germanium), (B) a far-infrared radiating ceramic material (e.g. ZrO2, MgO, Al2O3 and SiO2) and (C) a textile material having deodorizing, antibacterial and/or moisture-proofing actions (e.g. a fiber containing an antibacterial copper ion compound kneaded in the fiber). A product having hygienic and sanitary function (e.g. clothes, beddings, foot gear, hat, supporter and bandage) can be produced by using the sheet material. The obtained material exhibits excellent hygienic and sanitary function caused by the electric action of germanium in combination with the far-infrared action radiated from the ceramic material and the deodorizing, antibacterial and moisture-proofing actions. |
