MULTI-TARGET HOMING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To save time for establishment of homing and to improve capability of multi-target homing by limiting the number of tracks and by reflecting correlation probability of distance changing rate onto reliability of hypothesis. CONSTITUTION:A device 4 for calculating predicted distance changing rate calculates distance changing rate of each target. The maximum target speed is stored in the maximum target speed table. A device 6 for calculating initial software gate calculates an initial software gate, and a device 9 for performing distance changing rate correlation processing calculates correlation probability of distance changing rate for each target. Then, by limiting tracks taking the maximum target speed into consideration and by reflecting the correlation probability of distance changing rate onto reliability of the hypothesis, the capability of recognition that is 'Whether a new target, an already homed target or unnecessary signals?', is much improved.
