A two-piece football dummy for physical contact training comprising a padded cylindrical, stand-up portion with a second portion attached thereto by vertically adjustable means. The second portion is also generally cylindrical with smaller diameter end portions extending transversely of the stand-up portion to represent the head and shoulders of an opposing player at a predetermined height.
