PURPOSE:To see that the efficiency is excellent and that noise does not occur by giving the contact part on the side of a mover spring properties so as to make it perform uniform contact all over the circumference. CONSTITUTION:A vibrator b1 is hollow, and is made of metallic elastic material, and the middle part has a tapered contact part A. A rotor dA is different in that the contact part dAA on the side of a mover, which receives the driving force from the contact part A, is made in the shape of a collar, which has spring properties. This contact part dAA on the side of the mover is deformed with CEN as the center. Moreover, this contact part dAA has such properties as to be flexible only in the direction F of vibration in the region of the contact part A or in the direction approximately in accord with it and be hard in other direction, that is, in the circumferential direction and in the direction perpendicular to the displacement direction and besides parallel with the plane passing the axis. Since the displacement direction of the collar-shaped contact part dAA of such mover dA and the displacement direction of the vibrator b1 agree with each other or nearly agree with each other, excessive sliding loss does not occur, and an efficient ultrasonic motor can be gotten. |
