PURPOSE:To control a stepping motor properly by equipping it with a means, which decides the application range of the timing data for acceleration and the timing data for deceleration inside a storage means based on the target constant velocity data of a motor. CONSTITUTION:First, in each of an address pointer and a pulse counter, the head address of a table 501 for acceleration and the number of pulses for accelerating it while following tables in order to get desired speed are set. Next, it outputs pulses to a stepping motor with the timing in compliance with the data read in from the table 501c that the address pointer shows and increment the address pointer by one, and decrement the pulse counter by one. This acceleration control is repeated until the pulse counter becomes zero. Next, the number of pulses to drive a motor at constant velocity is set in the pulse counter, and while outputting the pulses with the step timing at constant velocity, the pulse counter is decrement. |
