PURPOSE:To obtain a negative chargeable magenta toner having excellent frictional electric characteristics by incorporating compds. classfied as C.I. SolvenfRed177 at specific wt% in a binder resin for toners. CONSTITUTION:As a binder resin, 100pts. a polystyrene resin, 6pts. carbon black, and 0.1-20pts.wt. DiresinRedH5B as a compd. classified to C.I. SolvenfRed177 are mixed and ground. The mixture is melted and kneaded with a roll mill and after cooling, the mixture is pulverized to powder and is classified, whereby a toner is obtained. 88Pts. carrier iron powder is mixed with 12pts. the toner, whereby a developer is obtained. By using such developer, 10,000 sheets are copied continuously with a dry type copying machine for plain paper, whereby the negative electric charge toner for electrostatic charge development having stable frictional electric characteristics under changing humidity conditions is obtained. |
