PURPOSE:To easily and efficiently input copying fundamental conditions of destination specification, an initial mode, etc., before shipping from a factory by reading a mark sheet type form and making settings. CONSTITUTION:The copying fundamental condition specification form 400 consists of a specification form kind decision part 401 for deciding which of specified forms of the copying fundamental conditions and a copy mode this form is, a destination specification part 402, address information 410 indicating a mark position, etc. Further, the copy mode specification form specifies a main copy mode among various copy modes. Respective specification parts of the specification form are marked to specify respective items. Then the specification form is inserted into a reader and then an optical read sensor reads the marks and sends the data to a control circuit. The control circuit sets fundamental conditions and copy mode according to the data. |
