A flat-mounted cabinet door hinge, having a low cabinet-side profile, including a cabinet mounting plate and a door mounting plate interconnected by an elongated carrier plate, optionally containing a bend, attached to the cabinet and door mounting plates through a link and a toggle, to allow the door to swing from a closed position through an arc exceeding 90 DEG to an open position and containing a spring device to urge and releasably hold the door in its closed position against the cabinet.
