PURPOSE:To inform a driver of the possibility of run away of a vehicle by canceling an alarm by detection signals of the parking range position of a select lever and the operating state of a brake means, or the closed state of a door, and giving the alarm by detection signals other than them. CONSTITUTION:An alarm device is formed of a parking position detecting switch 32, a neutral position detecting switch 35, a foot brake operation detecting switch 37, a parking brake operation detecting switch 39, and a door switch 41, which detect the shift range position of a select lever 31, the neutral state of a manual multi-stage transfer 33, the opened and closed state of a door 40, and the operating state of a brake means. These detection signals cancel an alarm in reply to any detection signal of the state where the select lever 31 is in parking range position and the manual multi-stage transfer 33 is in a position other than neutral, the operating state of the brake means, or the closed state of the door 40, and the alarm is given in reply to the detection signals other than them. |
