OPTICAL DATA RECORDING MEDIUM AND METHOD FOR DUPLICTING OPTICAL DATA USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To obtain an optical data recording medium excellent in resolving power and capable of easily duplicating optical data by adding a binder and a substance generating gas by the irradiation with light to a photosensitive layer and performing the duplication on the photosensitive layer by utilizing that the generated gas forms fine gas bubbles and performing reading by utilizing the scattering of light due to fine gas bubbles. CONSTITUTION:A substance generating gas by photodecomposition is dissolved or dispersed in the photosensitive layer of an optical data recording medium and the duplication of the optical data recording medium is performed by utilizing the foaming phenomenon of the gas discharged by the decomposition of said substance. As the substance generating gas, a diazonium salt is designated. The photosensitive layer containes a binder and the substance generating gas by the irradiation with light whose amount is 5-100 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the binder. The duplication on the photosensitive layer is performed by utilizing the generation of gas bubbles of 0.05-1.0mum due to the irradiation with light and reading is performed by utilizing the scattering of light of an exposed part.
