PURPOSE:To offer the desired information to the drivers by providing a guidance display means to show the waiting time for entering as well as the full/vacant lot state information given from a central processing unit (CPC) for each parking lot. CONSTITUTION:A car entering/leaving state detecting means 12 is provided at each parking lot 11 and detects the number of entering/ leaving cars at each lot 11. A CPU 13 owns a full/vacant, lot state deciding function which decides a full or vacant lot state from the number of entering cars detected by the means 12 and the parkable limit number of cars, an entering waiting time deciding function which decides the waiting time for entering at a lot 11 where the filled-with-car state is detected by the full/vacant lot state deciding function, and an output function which outputs the full/vacant lot state information obtained by the full/vacant lot state deciding function and the waiting time for entering the lot obtained by the entering waiting time deciding function. A guidance display means 14 shows the full/vacant lot stage information and the entering waiting time received from the (CPU) 13 at each lot 11. As a result, the drivers, i.e., the system users can obtain the desired information on the parking lots. Then the availability of a parking lot guidance system is improved. |
