The coupler system is composed of forward directional coupler and backward directional coupler. The backward directional coupler detects the reflection energy to compensate the amplification gain of a final amplifier so that flat leveled output power in used frequency band is obtained. The coupler includes a forward directional coupler (41) connected to the output terminal of a final amplifier, a backward directional coupler (42) connected between the forward directional coupler and load side, a first diode (D1') connected to the output terminal of the forward directional coupler to detect reflected energy, a first low pass filter (44) for converting reflected energy to DC, and a second lowpass filter (45) connected between a diode (D1) and a resister (R1) to generate the backward directional output.
