The apparatus includes a key input processing interface (A17) for receiving all input signals and for transmitting the input signals to a CPU (A13). An on-screen display control section (A16) receives processed data from the CPU (A13) to generate corresponding characters. A digitron driving group (A12) and an EEP-ROM control section (A11) control input/output data under the control of the CPU (A13). Another on-screen display circuit (A19) includes a character generating code section (A22) and an adder-subtractor (A23), and is connected to the control sections (A11)(A16) of the microprocessor (A10). The apparatus carries out the functions automatically, and prevents overlapping.
