PURPOSE:To facilitate route setting by displaying a passing point set at the last time with a passing point display means before setting a passing point in a route memory means. CONSTITUTION:A GPS (Global positioning system) receiver 2 demodulates the electric wave from a GPS satellite, which is received through an antenna 1, to output the longitude data, the latitude data or the like of a current position of an automobile per about one second. An electronic control device 3 computes the current position on a map on the basis of the longitude data and the latitude data from the receiver 2 and the map data memorized in a ROM to display the current position in an atlas gage 5. The device 3 computes the longitude and the latitude on the basis of the set coordinate to memorize them. At the time of setting an order of the passing points, the number of the atlas, the page number and the coordinate, the date set at the last time is displayed by a display device 4 and the atlas gauge 5. As a result, a user can set a passing point by changing the displayed data. Consequently, at the time of setting a route for connecting multiple passing points, the route can be set easily. |
