PURPOSE:To continue to display the direction for directing the destination when a switch means is operated by preventing setting of the next through point as the destination even if a moving body comes close to the destination. CONSTITUTION:A GPS (global positioning system) receiver 2 demodulates the electric wave from a GPS satellite, which is received through an antenna 1, to output the latitude data and the longitude data or the like of a current position of an automobile per about one second. An electronic control device 3 computes a current position on the map on the basis of the latitude data and the longitude data received from the receiver 2 and the map data memorized in a ROM, and the current position is displayed by an atlas gauge 5. Next, the device 3 judges a contraction of the map, and thereafter, judges that a prohibiting switch 68 is operated or not. In the case that the switch 68 is operated to be switched to the prohibition mode, even if a residual distance between the moving body and the destination is within a set distance, as far as a renewal switch 67 is not operated, the destination is not renewed. |
