(A) Thee antibodies CP-91,243 and CP-91,244 represented by the formula (III) and their cationic salts are new. In the formula, R is H or CH3, respectively for CP-91,243 and CP-91,244. - (B) a mutant of the microorganism Actinomadura resorufan, the microorganism having the identifying characteristics of ATCC 53666 or a further mutant, transformant or recombinant of such, capable of producing, by cultivation an antibiotic of the formula (III) and an antibiotic of the formula (I) is new. - Actimonmadura resorufa according to (B) having the identifying characteristics of ATCC 53869 or ATCC 53870, or a mutant transformant or recombinant of such, capable of producing by cultivation, an antibiotic of the formula (III). |
