The arrangement is for adjusting the height of a head support (4) attached to the backrest of a vehicle seat. The support has two parallel round rods (3) which are connected at their free ends by a crossmember (5). There is a Bowden cable (8) which links the crossmember and the frame (1) enabling a linear drive (11) to move the crossmember relative to the frame. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple and cost-effective method of adjusting a head support to suit occupants of differing height.
