PURPOSE:To obtain the toner which has excellent low-temp. fixability and low-temp. offset resistance and a wide non-offset region by specifying the m. p. and heat of fusion of a release agent. CONSTITUTION:This toner is obtd. by subjecting a polymerizable monomer system contg. at least the release agent and coloring material to a suspension polymn. in an aq. medium. This release agent is the wax having >=75 deg.C and <=145 deg.C m. p. and <30cal/g heat of fusion. For example, grafted paraffin wax, a random copolymer of alpha-olefin and ethylene, etc., are usable as the wax. The lower-temp. fixing is possible in this way while the high-temp. offset resistance is imparted to the toner. |
