The cleaning chamber has an upper part (1a) shaped as three overlapping cylinders for insertion of the lens holder, and a lower part (1b) in which the flow of liquid is stirred by a spinner (2b) driven by a motor (2a). Inlet and outlet valves (4,5), an air vent valve (6) and a controller(7) are built into the main body (100). The electric power is regulated and timed so as to maintain the liq. at b.pt. after rapid boiling. ADVANTAGE - Effective contact with the preservative liq. is guaranteed without risk of breakage or deformation of the lens.
