Cpds. of formula (I) are used as additives for washing compsns.. In (I) R = 8-22C aliphatic hydrocarbon gp.; R1 = H or 1-22C aliphatic hydrocarbon gp.; R2 = H or 1-4C alkyl; alkylene = ethylene or propylene; X = H, 1-4C alkyl or Ph-(1-2C alkyl): A- = gegenion; x, y = 0 or 1; r = 1 or 2; m, n, p = 0-200; m + r.n + p = 10-200. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) are additives for textile washing compsnsn., for both industrial and household compsns.. Dyed textiles can be washed alone or with undyed textiles, and coloured goods can be washed in domestic machines. Re-deposition of dissolved dyes and dye breakdown prods. is prevented. (0/0)
