The super-stoichiometrically premixing, fan-assisted gas burner has a partition between combustion and mixing chambers with ports (4) for the mixt., together with a throttle (1) in the mixing chamber upstream of the partition. To provide vibration separation between the chambers, the throttle has one or more apertures (2) with a total cross-sectional area of 2 to 10%, preferably 2 to 5%, of that of the partition ports.
