Belting, where the warps pass round rotating rollers and the lateral wefts have projections on the underside matching grooves in the rollers, has structured wefts which form flattened projections (18) through the upper surface (17) centrally between the warps. Pref. the later gaps between the upper weft projections (18) are a multiple of the warp interval (a). The upper projections (18), across the direction of belt travel, are formed in the weft wires to give rows of projections along the line of belt travel. The upper projections (18) can be shaped in guide wires, woven into the wire fabric between the weft wires, with flats at least at one side parallel to the belt plane, and the lower projections can also be structured in the guide wires. The weft wires can be structured to form the upper projections (18) and also the lower projections (15). The gap between the upper projections (18), in each row along the line of belt travel, is a whole-number multiple of the weft wire interval.
|
