A crown is fastened to a dental implant by means of a two part connecting piece (1,2) which are connected to each other by a buffer (3) made of an elastic synethetic material such as an elastomer. The buffer (3) is in the form of a ring which is bonded to the connecting pieces (1,2) by vulcanising or with adhesive. the lower end (4) of the lower connecting piece has a screw thread for a grub screw (13) with a tapered end (14) which engages a matching hole (12) in the lower end (11) of the upper connecting piece. The grub screw limits the rocking movement of the upper part (2).
