The automatic regulator device comprises a circuit (5) for measuring the level and density of pulp in a chamber (1), wherein two bubbling pipes (6, 7) are in communication with a differential pressure pickup (10) connected to a circuit (28) for controlling the flow rate of frother from a tank (32) and to a correction unit (13) which is also connected to a pressure pickup (11) communicating with the pipe (6). The output of the correction unit (13) is connected to a circuit (18) for controlling the flow rate of water and frother through a valve (20) in response to a pulp level deviation from a preset value. A water-and-frother flow transducer (22) is connected to a circuit (23) for controlling the rate of gangue discharge through a control valve (27) in response to a deviation of the flow rate of water and frother from a preset value so that the level remains constant.
