PURPOSE:To surely prevent a glass surface from icing in an airport lighting device with man power reduced by an antiicing/deicing device for removing coating ice from a front glass of a lighting lamp, in the case of a lighting equipment set up in an airport. CONSTITUTION:A heater 12 is provided around a surface of a glass 4 of an airport lighting device 1, and an outer side of the glass 4 is heated to increase a temperature by action of this heater 12 so as to remove icing from the outer side of the glass 4. Or hot air may be blown from a pipe, arranged just outside the glass 4 of the airport lighting device 1, so that the icing may be removed from the surface of the glass 4. In this way, the icing on the surface of the glass 4 of the airport lighting device 1 can be removed in a short time without necessity for large man power and labor further without giving troubles to a worker. When the heater 12 or the like is constituted so as to be automatically controlled in accordance with the outside air temperature, icing on the surface of the glass 4 of the airport lighting device 1 can be prevented. |
