The internal voltage source uses a clocked power switch (S) with a storage and blocking circuit (C1,C2,L1,D2) connected in parallel across the switch. The circuit contains a capacitor (C1) charged to the output voltage of the current supply via a diode during the blocked phase of the switch and a second capacitor (C2) receiving this charge via a second diode (D2) during the conductive end phase of the switch. The internal voltage (UV) is obtained from the second capacitor. Pref. the collector/emitter voltage of the power switch is higher than the input voltage (UE) of the current supply.
