<p>PURPOSE:To hit a ball properly by separately forming a ball hitting body and a hosel component before directly coupling them to assemble a head proper and forming the hosel component with fiber reinforced plastics in which thermoplastic synthetic resin is used as a matrix. CONSTITUTION:A head proper 1 is made by separately independently forming a ball hitting body 2 which constitutes a face plane 1A, back plane 1B, crown plane 1C and sole plane 1D, and a hosel component 3 which constitutes a hosel part 1E, and the hosel component 3 is formed with the fiber reinforced plastics in which the thermoplastic synthetic resin is used as the matrix. Accordingly, the material of the ball hitting part 2 can be freely selected, the hosel part 1E can be post-processed, and bending adjustment according to a loft angle and a lie angle is made possible. The hosel component 3 made of the fiber reinforced plastics has small specific gravity, and the position of the center of gravity can be shifted to the side of the ball hitting body 2. Thus, a ball can be hit properly.</p> |
