Tube comprises a semi-circular body (1) and a pivoted semi-circular clamping arm (2). The clamping arm (2) is attached to the end of the body (1) by an integral hinge (4) and has a hook (5) at the outer end engaging in a corresponding hook (6) at the opposite end of the body (1). Secure locking of the hook system is obtd. by a diagonally inward running ramp (7) on the inner wall (9) of the body (1) below the hook (6). The ramp (7) has a step (8) behind which the inner end (10) of the clamping arm (2) engages just as the hooks (5,6) lock together when a pipe is pressed into the clamp.
