<p>PURPOSE:To provide a beautiful lightweight polyester film showing excellent adhesiveness to printing ink or magnetic paint and excellent in durability by a method wherein a uniaxially stretched film composed of a polyester resin composition containing an olefinic resin and/or a modified olefinic resin is subjected to corona discharge treatment and subsequently coated with an aqueous coating agent of an easy adhesive resin to be dried, stretched and thermally fixed. CONSTITUTION:The use amount of an olefinic resin and/or a modified olefinic resin is 4-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of a polyester resin composition. Corona discharge treatment is applied to the single surface or both surfaces of a uniaxially stretched film composed of a polyester resin composition and the surface of the film subjected to corona discharge treatment is further coated with an aqueous coating agent of an easy adhesive resin. As this aqueous coating agent, for example, various aqueous coating agents such as a polyurethane emulsion, a polyester aqueous dispersion or an acrylic resin emulsion can be used. The uniaxially stretched polyester film after the coating with the aqueous coating agent is further dried, stretched and subsequently heat-treated. The biaxially stretched polyester film thus obtained must has density of 0.7-1.3 g/cm<3>.</p> |
