PURPOSE:To count only a first pulse by inverting the first pulse to set the second pulse detection state with respect to a device which counts a pulse only at the time of alternate detection of first and second pulses. CONSTITUTION:A first pulse P1 and a second pulse P2 alternately outputted from a transmitter 1 are inputted to a pulse counter device 3A and are inputted to a pulse generating circuit 36 through a waveform shaping circuit 31 and detecting circuits 32 and 33. When detecting the pulse P2, the circuit 36 inverts the pulse P1 to generate a third pulse P3. Meanwhile, a discriminating circuit 34 outputs a count pulse signal when alternately detecting pulses P1 and P3, and this signal is counted by a counter circuit 35. If only the pulse P1 is inputted from the transmitter 1, the pulse P2 is turned on by short circuit of transmission lines 2b and 2c or the like, and this pulse P2 is detected by the circuit 36, and thereby, the pulse P1 is inverted to generate the pulse P3. Then, the circuit 34 alternately detects pulses P1 and P3 to count the pulses. Thus, the output pulse of the transmitter which transmit only the first pulse can be counted. |
