PURPOSE:To provide a laminate having high strength and excellent in water resistance, heat resistance and chemical resistance by providing a resole type phenol resin layer and a layer of a hydrogenated polybutadiene having a carboxyl group at the single terminal of its molecular chain on the surface of a metal and providing a polyolefin layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:A phenol resin is applied to the surface of a metal. As the phenol resin, a resole type phenol resin oligomer is used and hydrogenated polybutadiene (CHP) having a carboxyl group at the single terminal of its molecular chain is added to the phenol resin within the range of 0.1-10 pts.wt. per 1 pts.wt. of the phenol resin. The coated CHP-containing phenol resin is dried in air or dried by a blower or vacuum drying to volatilize the greater part of the solvent in the resin and subsequently heated to be cured. In this case, the resin is heated at 150-250 deg.C for about 5-120min. By this heating, the phenole resin completes a three-dimensional reticulated structure but a polyolefin is applied to the phenol resin layer as an overcoat layer before completion. |
