发明名称 RARE EARTH MAGNET MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURE
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the oxidation and the deterioration in the magnetic properties of a rare earth magnet material by forming its main phase of an R2T14B phase, incorporating neodymium hydride into the grain boundary phase and substantially comprising the above of an NdH2 phase. CONSTITUTION:The main phase of a rare earth magnet material is formed of an R2T14B phase; where R denotes one or more kinds of rare earth elements including Y and T denotes transition metal elements essentially consisting of Fe; then, neodymium hydride is incorporated into the grain boundary phase; furthermore the neodymium hydride is essentially comprised of an NdH2 phase; and the NdH2 phase occupies 80wt.% of the neodymium hydride in the grain boundary phase. Hydrogen is occluded into an R-T-M alloy, and heat treatment is executed to form the neodymium hydride in the grain boundary phase substantially into the NdH2, phase. In this way, the magnet material excellent in coercive force, residual magnetic flux density and maximum energy product can be obtd.
