PURPOSE:To detect abnormality accurately by measuring a required time from a start of rising a bottom plate of a paper feeding cassette to ON of an upper limit detecting sensor at a predetermined times, and judging abnormality of a driving system of a motor on the basis of a mean value thereof. CONSTITUTION:In a control means 10, a required time measured by a sensor 6 per a predetermined time is computed on the basis of a predetermined computing expression, and a result of this computing is set as a reference value. Next, at the time of measuring a required time after setting this reference value, in the cast that a required time exceeds the reference value, an alarm display is lightened while a motor 3 is stopped to perform the control for prohibiting copy. |
