摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten the rising time of a page printer by impressing a voltage higher than the voltage at the time of an ordinary operation to a heater of a fixing section at the time of turning on of a power source. CONSTITUTION:A generation section 2 for the information on the impressed voltage at the time of the turning on of the power source is started by the control of an initial setting section 1 at the time of turning on of the power source when the power source is turned on. A control section 4 for the impressed voltage controls a generation section 5 for the impressed voltage so as to impress the impressed voltage in accordance with the information on the impressed voltage at the time of the turning on of the power source obtd. from the generation section 2 for the information. The information on the impressed voltage at the time of turning on of the power source and at the time of the ordinary operation is set in such a manner that the impressed voltage to the heater 6 of the fixing section at the time of the turning on of the power source is higher than the impressed voltage at the time of the ordinary operation, by which the temp. rising speed of the fixing section 9 at the time of the turning on of the power source is increased. The initial setting section 1 starts the generation section 3 for the information on the impressed voltage at the time of the ordinary operation when the temp. of the fixing section 9 detected by a temp. sensor 8 for the fixing section attains a specified value or above. Consequently, the control section 4 controls the generation section 5 so as to impress the impressed voltage in accordance with the information on the impressed voltage at the time of the ordinary operation obtd. from the generation section 3 for the information.
