The size in the axial direction shortened, so that two multi-disc clutches (C3,C0) independently engageable with or disengageable from an outer cylinder (108) are provided in series in the axial direciton. Grooves (125), through which penetrate upline tubes (126) extending between a first piston (110) and the clutch, are provided at positions in the clutch. When a second piston (112) is operated, the clutch is engaged or disengaged. When the first piston is operated, the upline tubes extend between the first piston and the clutch and are operated together with the first piston. The clutch is engaged or disengaged. |
