PURPOSE:To provide an air conditioner which can be smoothly fixed to a main body while an air filter being curved has a rectangular shape by a method wherein a stopper to which an air filter bent in a curved shape is arranged between an end part of a heat exchanger and an inner wall of the main body opposing against the end part. CONSTITUTION:When a pre-filter 7 is fixed to a main body, a releasing button 6 is pushed to open a suction panel 4. Under a condition in which the suction panel 4 is being released a pre-filter 7 formed in advance into a curved shape is inserted at a lower part of the main body. At this time, the pre-filter 7 rises along the guide member 18 being bent. An upper end 24 of the pre-filter 7 strikes against a stopper 15 of a filter frame 13 to stop its rising operation. In this way, the stopper 15 is placed between the upper end 16 of the heat exchanger 8 and the inner wall 17 of the main body, so that even if the pre-filter 7 is pushed up too excessively, the pre-filter 7 does not operate more than that as required. With such an arrangement, a fixing of the prefilter can be smoothly carried out. |
