<p>Clothes drier with an electric heating resistor (23, 26) and a programmer with a timer to control the operating time. This clothes drier comprises a fan for blowing air over the resistor and through the clothes and a thermostat sensitive to the temperature of the air leaving the clothes which, when it opens, cuts off the power to the heating resistor. This clothes drier comprises a cut-out means (19, 21) preventing any further power supply to the resistor (23, 26) after the first opening of the thermostat (10, 11, 12). The cut-out means comprises, for example a thermostat (19) which is not subjected to the current of hot air leaving the clothes but is heated by an electric resistor (21). Current is passed through the latter after opening of the detector thermostat (10, 11, 12) sensitive to the temperature of the air leaving the clothes. <IMAGE></p> |
