PURPOSE:To attain the effect of under color removal at most by providing a setting means setting arithmetic coefficient to a signal conversion means and a determining means determining the density of each color recording material so as to perform metamerism with the color separation signal of the read picture based on a signal from the signal conversion means. CONSTITUTION:A signal conversion means 101 performing the prescribed operation to the color separation signal of the read picture and non-linear conversion, a setting means setting the arithmetic coefficient to a signal conversion means 102, and a decision means deciding the density of each color recording member so as to perform the metamerism with the color separation signal of the read picture, are provided. The setting means sets the arithmetic coefficient by a multiplication coefficient arithmetic part 120 so as to be converted into the combination in which the ratio of the the black is the maximum among the plural combinations of yellow, magenta, cyanogen, and black which performs the metamerism with the color separation signal of the read picture. Thus, the UCR can be fully attained without damaging color reproducibility. |
