The invention concerns an arrangement for an electrical box for flush mounting, comprising a box ring 20 with adjustable distance from the bottom 14 of the box for adaptation of an installation unit or insert piece to the surrounding building structure. At least two fastening screws 21A, 22A for the insert piece also serve to lock the box ring 20 in place in a top piece of the box 10. The box ring 20 and co-operating inner surfaces 11B, 12, 13 in the box are designed so that the box ring can be shifted against a certain maximum friction force between the box ring 20 and the co-operating inner surfaces 11B, 12, 13 in the box upon tightening of the fastening screws 21A, 22A and with the insert piece put in place. The resulting wedge effect 21, 22, 23, 24 and expansion of the box ring 20 occurs when the fastening screws 21A, 22A are tightened with a force which exceeds said maximum friction force, when the box ring lies against the insert piece as a result of the box ring being shifted outward. <IMAGE> |
