PURPOSE:To obtain the rotor of a superconducting rotative electric apparatus capable of suppressing deformation of a field winding by application of specified radial bearing thereto and preventing quenching by axially tapering an inserted wedge and tapering in the opposite direction an insulator between the field winding and the wedge. CONSTITUTION:Because a gap 11 is formed between an insulator 41 inserted from near a coil end and a wedge 51 tapered in the axial opposite direction to the insulator 41 to point C, the wedge 51 can be inserted without applying radial bearing to a field winding 3. The taper from point C to the center of a winding fixation shaft 1 (point A) acts as radial bearing required for preventing the field winding 3 from quenching. Therefore, the maximum bearing is applied only once to any section of the field winding 3 by inserting the wedge 51. Thereby the field winding 3 is prevented from deforming and decrease in radial bearing which may cause quenching is prevented. |
