<p>PURPOSE:To promote the operability by making a dial rotational angle range for keeping such a tape moving speed that the using frequency of this speed is high larger than that of other tape moving speeds. CONSTITUTION:A variable dial 1 is provided with a rotary encoder 2, and a prescribed pulse is generated by the rotary encoder 2 in accordance with its rotation and supplied to a counter 3. The pulse is counted by the counter 3, and a count value is supplied to a system controller 4. Then, a tape moving speed is set by the system controller 4 from the count value supplied from the counter 3, and instructions are sent by the controller to drive circuits 5 and 7 for a capstan motor 6 and a reel motor 8 respectively for driving a tape. At this time, the dial rotational angle range for such a tape moving speed as of a high using frequency is made larger than other dial rotational angle ranges for other tape moving speeds. By this method, a tape moving speed of a high using frequency is easily dialed.</p> |
